Sunrise over the Lake Plate

Description

A glorious sunrise is rising over a calm lake on this hand carved, wheel thrown plate. Rimmed in red, it makes a wonderful display plate but is also suitable for food serving.

• Thrown on the potter’s wheel in durable ivory white stoneware clay
• The sunrise and lake were hand-carved through black underglaze while the clay was still moist
• Dimensions: 8 1/2″ wide – 1″ high – The rim is more upward facing making this more of a dish than a plate. It is not as flat as a plate
• Dishwasher Safe
• Microwave Safe
