Hummingbird Plate with Scalloped Yellow Rim

Two hummingbirds fluttering through flowers, have been carved into the clay, through black underglaze, to reveal the soft white clay underneath using a technique called Sgraffito.

The scalloped rim is a glazed in a pastel yellow with teeny speckles through out. The artwork has been clear glazed to bring out the bold black and gloss it up
